Caribbean Cement Company Limited experienced a fire in a section of its administrative office which began after 6pm January 16 and lasted into this morning. The Fire Department extinguished the initial fire, however it reignited in the same area after midnight. No one was injured in the incident, only material damage was noted.
We are pleased to report that this incident did not affect production and will not affect our ability to supply Cement to the trade and our valued customers. Our customer’s trucks continue to be loaded and the incident has not disrupt supply.
Investigations have commenced into the cause of the fire. Personnel who normally operate in the affected area have been reassigned to others areas across the plant. Carib Cement has already commenced its plans to reconstruct the affected area.

All operations remain normal.
