A team from Carib Cement and CEMEX Jamaica participated in International Coastal Cleanup Day organized by the Jamaica Environmental Trust at the Palisadoes Go Kart Track on Saturday, September 21. The Palisadoes area is close to Carib Cement’s Rockfort Plant and to Kingston’s major airport. According to JET’s National Report on the 2018 ICCD activities, 130 miles of Coastline was cleaned by 9,332 volunteers in 2018.
